Fire Corps

Fire Corps volunteers support and supplement their local Fire Department. Citizen Advocates volunteer their time and skills in non-operational activities. It is a nationally-ran organization by a collaboration of the International Association of Fire Chiefs Volunteer Combination Officers Section, the International Association of Fire Fighters, the National Volunteer Fire Council, and the U.S Fire Administration.

Hermiston Fire Corps focuses on the non-operational aspect of the Department to allow Fire responders to focus their efforts on training and responding to critical, life-threatening situations.
